The Carrot Project staff is excited to be participating in SEMAP’s upcoming Southeast New England Agriculture Conference & Trade Show on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Bristol Aggie High School in Dighton, MA. This conference is a collaborative effort between SEMAP and many other regional partners to bring together farmers, fishers, market managers, educators, farm workers, and other representatives of the local food community. The conference will consist of a full day of workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and networking opportunities.

Our session, “Tools for Financial Resilience/Managing Farm Risk”, will outline tools and skills for assessing the performance of your operations, determining which areas of your farm business may be most at risk, and analyzing which options best address those risks for your farm. In addition, Carrot staff and advisors will be available throughout the day for individual coaching sessions including business plan review, access to lending, and financial planning for 2024 (among other topics). Time slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, with pre-registration highly recommended.
